New Move.

I have been helping my mother move recently into her new home. It has meant that we have left the house my sister and I grew up in, fought in and damaged, the house my parents decided they were going to get a divorce in, and the house that has been sheltering our mounds of memorabilia and other random crap in for years.

It feels good to be out and I can't claim that I am remotely disappointed to leave it behind. I feel like I should be but I guess not being to sentimentally attached to an old, ugly, dusty house is probably a good thing...

Mum is now living in a beautiful modern two story house in Highgate Hill with views of the mountains and the city. My sister has moved back in with mum here and my dog has also made the move.

The new place is ju-ju neutral right now but hopefully, as more artwork goes up and more furniture is added it will feel more homely. Until then, I am going to keep annoying mum with my own decorating style and Buddhist prayer flags.
