Happy 2008!!

I hope everyone had a splendid break between Christmas and new years. I headed to the Woodford Folk Festival as a volunteer for the opening and closing ceremony fire events. We spent the week immersed in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, in a fantastically disgusting mud bath. We made lanterns, giant sea horses, dancing stilt puppets and candle displays. We got massages, danced to artists, hung out with friends and made new ones. We jumped in puddles, giggled at kids and ate plenty. And by the end of it all, we were refreshed, happy and cleansed. Such is the Woodford experience.

It has been a rough year for but it is over now, so good riddance to 2007 and happy 2008 – a year of calm, love, learning and light!
