SO boring.

My little sister is currently leading a very exciting life living overseas and dating someone old enough to be her father (although she gets really angry when I talk about him like that). She rang me the other day and was telling me about what her world was like and what she has been doing and when she asked me what I had been doing all I could say was, "Nothing much... working...".

I found out later that she then rang mum and told her that she thought we weren't able to connect because I wasn't able to tell her what was happening in my life... it was then that they realised (and later informed me) that I am very boring at the moment. I am working two jobs and trying to establish a not-for-profit while volunteering and managing a relationship.

It is true.
*sigh*
I am very boring right now. Since realising this I have come to hate the question "What's new in your world" because people don't believe me when I say "Nothing, I'm just working" so they say, "But something is always happening in your world, you are always up to everything, so come on, what's new?!"

Although, I have started having great fun making up the most ridiculous lies and when people quickly realise that what I am saying is too crazy to be true, I just confess that my life is so boring I have to make stuff up...

Oh well... I am happy... Hopefully my boringness is just a phase...
